Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of events do you host?

We host a variety of events to encompass all interests. Typically, we rotate between academic & career advice, fun games, and guest speaker presentations. We're always open to new event ideas - email Olivia (PR chair) at oxw27@case.edu or let us know during a meeting! Check out our Events page for more information.

Where is Thwing 101?

The front entrance of Thwing is on Euclid, right behind an RTA stop. The address is 11111 Euclid Ave. A popular side entrance is located next to the southern entrance of Tinkham Veale University Center, on the opposite side of Kelvin Smith Library.

How can I get more involved in the CWRU neuroscience community?

The CWRU Neurosciences Department hosts weekly seminars (12pm on Thursdays, usually at BRB 105). Speakers are usually leaders in their field of research. This is a fantastic way to familiarize yourself with recent neuroscience discoveries and potentially find a lab to work in. Click here to subscribe to the mailing list.
